We are privileged to announce with the blessings of revered Sant Baba Dlawar Singh Ji (Brahm Ji), benign endorsement of our honorable chancellor Sant Baba Manmohan Singh Ji and Under the able guidance of respected Secretary, Sardar Hardaman Singh Minhas and vice chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Dharmjit Singh Parmar, that The Department of Physical Education and Sports has successfully completed the first day of workshop on yoga. Below is the framework of all steps which have been come into the discussion during this entire theoretical session.

The Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Department of Physical Education and Sports, recently conducted an insightful workshop on Yoga, with a focus on addressing back pain. The workshop commenced with a theoretical session, delving into the complexities of back pain, particularly targeting the upper back including the neck region. Tomorrow promises a practical session, aimed at implementing the theoretical knowledge gained.

The Theoretical Session:

The theoretical segment of the workshop served as a foundation for understanding the nuances of back pain, especially in the upper back and neck regions. Facilitators elucidated the causes and consequences of back pain, shedding light on the sedentary lifestyle, poor posture, stress, and underlying medical conditions contributing to this prevalent issue. Furthermore, attendees gained insights into the importance of maintaining spinal health and the role of yoga in alleviating back pain.

PATIALA COLLEGE adept at addressing specific concerns related to the upper back and neck. Through hands-on practice, attendees will learn proper alignment, breath awareness, and mindfulness techniques essential for managing and preventing back pain effectively.
